Ahead of the Edo state governorship elections, a member of the House of Representatives, Joseph Edionwele, said that the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), will chase away the Governor Adams Oshiomhole-led All Progressives Congress (APC), from the state’s Government House.
Edionwele, who represents the people of Esan West/Esan Central/Igueben federal constituency of Edo State, alleged that the elections will be a walk over for the PDP, because of the non-performance of the APC government in the state.
The lawmaker said: “It is not an issue of how prepared we (PDP) are. In Edo State, we are ready for change. We have passed through a lot of pains and troubles. PDP will certainly take over in September.
“The confidence is that Oshiomhole has not done anything. Nothing has changed. Take it sector by sector. In roads, nothing has changed. In the health sector, nothing has changed. There is no legacy the governor is leaving behind.”
