Ex Gov Joshua Dariye of plateau state found himself in an unusual battle with then President OBJ, In the midst of all the clash of supremacy Plateau state was boiling @ 80 degree Celsius. People were been killed, slained & maimed, properties destroyed. The Govrnor felt unconcerned. But it dawned on him (Dariye) whn OBJ declared a State of Emergency, disbanding every democratically elected arms of Government in Plateau state. No more security, No more security vote, No more Federal Allocation, then he became an ordinary citizen like me & my family members with no paraphernalia of the office of a Governor. Back home, i've watched, looked, observed with keen the sudden sliding into Anarchy & lawlessness the position of Rivers State as a geographical & governing entity. Day in, Day out, from Ahoada to Abua, Khana, Onelga, Degema,Gokana Eleme etc, Rivers State hav recorded massive killing backed by our political bourgeoisie. They should know that, the economy of the state is boiling hard & fast, when the boiling point attains its highest degree, even the political class will not escape it nor will they see any incompetent police escort to guard them. The earlier, the bettter. if the incompetent police commissioner cannot deliver & the Government of the state is less concerned about the rate of killings of human souls, then we should expect the Plateau experience of 2005 here in Rivers State. I rest my case.
