It is an open secret that Amina Zakari an INEC federal commissioner & Emmanuel Eborty the Electoral Officer deployed to Tai Local Government Area by INEC for the 19th March re-run election having been compromised, are @ the verge of releasing a cooked result.
I watched with fascination this morning on AIT when Emmanuel Eborty described the election in Tai as a sham, charade & recommended for it's cancellation.
In his words:
"....materials for this election has been hijacked & diverted, my staff are @ risk as they have been abducted. I am documenting my report & this election must be cancelled"!
He further sent text messages to Aniedi Ikiowak recommending cancellation of Tai election based on "facts & reports I am getting from the field".
Therefore, in a letter duly signed by Aniedi Ikiowak, Tai local government election was cancelled alongside 5 other LGA's.
On this note, electorates deserted pulling units.
We have been waiting for about 6weeks now for INEC to give a new date for another rerun, all of a sudden, Amina Zakari & Emmanuel Eworty have conspired to announce a result known only to them.
Let everyone who knows Amina tell her that Rivers people shall resist her evil plans.
Mr Eworty should also keep his integrity by refusing to be tossed around by those who want to cause mischief....
A word should always be enough for the wise.....
Rivers people say no to Amina's impunity...
Rivers people say no to contravention of electoral act...
Rivers people say no to sharp practices.
Rivers people condemn the excesses of the likes of Amina Zakari.
I really wonder how INEC degenerated to this rather petty level!
INEC is an independent umpire...
I urge that it remains independent...
Let's not create tension when it is not necessary.
Amina Zakari, Emmanuel Eborty & Aniedi Ikoiwak, please let the sleeping dog lie!
