THUNDER CAN STRIKE TWICE AT SAME PLACE

Ladies and gentlemen,

This is to humbly inform you that beginning from Monday next week, I will be doing a daily countdown to the historic flag-off of the implementation of the UNEP Report on Ogoni land scheduled to take place on the 2nd of June, 2016, at Tekuru Waterside, Bodo, Gokana, Ogoni, Rivers State.

The President and Commander -in-Chief of the Armed Force of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, His Excellency, President Muhammadu Buhari, in all his dazzling glory, will be live in Ogoni land on that day to show love and give succor to a marginalized people, whose environment has been degraded, destroyed and in fact "killed".

President Buhari will kickstart the different efforts aimed at "resurrecting " the Ogoni environment on that day...what a monumental show of love?

But do you know that thunder can strike twice at the same place? Buhari is on the verge of proving that!

As military head of state, Buhari visited the Tekuru Waterside in 1984  to lay foundation of 500 hectares brackish Water Fish farm project of the Niger Delta Basin and Rural Development Authority. More than three decades later, the same man is coming to the same place, this time, as democratically elected President of Nigeria to herald the beginning of what is undoubtedly the greatest environmental restoration project in the history of the African continent!

Ogoni people have been crying blood from their eyes, begging their own Niger Delta brother from Ogbia, Bayelsa, to help. But he turned his back on our people.

On June 2nd, after only one year in office as President, a man, all the way from Daura in Katsina State, a place without a drop of oil, will be live in Ogoni to answer the call Ken Saro Wiwa made in the early 1990s.

That will be a day when thunder will strike twice at the same place!

**If you like what Buhari is doing in Ogoni, please, I beseech you, share this post widely.
